TRUST YOUR LEGACY SEMINAR

Take Control of Your Future

We stand out from our competition by understanding the need for real, professional legal assistance in estate matters. Your future and your family’s future are not a case to be handled by a one-size fits all online form generator, but an important matter to be discussed with one of our attorneys. We aim to learn about your unique circumstance to determine what plan will best suit your needs. This relationship does not end with the creation of legal documents but carries on even after their completion. With real attorney interaction and an under 24-hour response time to all matters, we always put our clients first.

Life is full of Unknowns, We Can Provide Certainty

No matter what the size of your estate, you want to make sure your wishes are carried out and your family protected.  Trust Your Legacy helps protect what is most important to you by providing comprehensive estate plans tailored to your specific needs.  Often, for modest estates, comprehensive estate planning is cost prohibitive with costs ranging from $3k to $7k. Trust Your Legacy believes that if your estate is under $1.5 million, an affordable and comprehensive plan option should also be available.

Trust Your Legacy is a team of legal professionals who understand the needs of your estate regardless of its size.  We believe that protection and probate avoidance should be available to you at a price you can afford.  With our ongoing subscription service, we strive to be there for you now and in your future.

Wills

A Will is the most basic form of estate planning an individual can have in place. However, Wills no longer protect people from having to endure the probate process. We will supply you with a Pour-Over Will, which essentially works in tandem with a Trust to ensure all your assets are protected from the probate process by directing all assets into the Trust.

Trusts

A Trust is the best way to protect your assets from probate and ensure your estate is distributed according to your wishes. This document allows you to appoint a trustee to administer your estate to your chosen beneficiaries as you see fit, while also protecting your assets from creditors.

Durable Power of Attorney

A Durable Power of Attorney allows you to appoint an agent to represent you financially if you are no longer able to yourself. If you are ill or incapacitated a power of attorney will allow your representative to have the ability to withdraw funds, pay your bills, and care for your finances.

Health Care Power of Attorney

A Health Care Power of Attorney allows you to appoint a representative that will make healthcare decisions for you if you are no longer able to. A health care power of attorney enables your representative to direct your wishes for all medical decisions when you are ill or incapacitated.

Probate

Without a comprehensive estate plan, your estate is most likely to have to go through probate. Probate is the judicial process of our court system distributing your estate. This process can be lengthy and expensive. When tragedy strikes, this is the last thing you want to deal with. Our team can help you navigate the probate process and support you during these rough times.

Business Formation

If you are looking to start a business our team can advise you on the entity that will work best for you. We understand that all business ideas are different and can help you decide what next steps fit your business plan best.

HIPPA Waiver

Our healthcare system protects our privacy through HIPPA, which prevents the distribution of our healthcare information. A HIPPA waiver will allow your loved ones access to your healthcare information to ensure they are well informed on your care.

Living Will

This document is a visual representation of your healthcare wishes. A living will lists out how you would like to be cared for if you are unable to communicate. This is different from the health care power of attorney because this document lists out your wishes, while the power of attorney gives a representative the right to make decisions for you. These documents together help ensure your wishes are met.
